001 – things are about to get weird
new year, new project: a photo series a day for the whole year.
the rules: minimum of 3 photos constitutes a series, all photos must be shot that day (including film), and lastly, not exactly a rule, but more of a hope that this will be the most words you’ll see in a post this year… the images should speak for themselves
in 2011 when i did the 365×1 project i learned some things, primarily that when taking on a project like this… not everyday will be stellar. so, i’m prepared for that this time. this time around i’ve created a set of recurring types of sub-series that i will stick to… you’ll see them as they start to appear… for instance, today’s post is tagged in the ‘brief interactions‘ sub-catergoy below – that will show up more throughout the year, as will other continuing sub-series.

Awesome Jared! We are starting a new 365 project on the same day. I’m simplifying as well – a drawing a day (or at least I draw every day). I may work on one image over multiple days. Let’s do this!
